Haggling With A Blog
My story is based on the premise that reality television and stories are a rage throughout America with cooking, home improvement, comedy, drama shows, magazines and books. Celebrities and families with unique characteristics have jumped into mass media.
Although many people do not have much in common with families of eighteen, motorcycle manufacturers or moguls with rich lives, these shows and stories are staples in the American public entertainment genre as a distraction from everyday ordinary life challenges and problems. For many hardworking American housewives, recession has become a real and scary actuality. While sitting on the sidelines hopelessly and helplessly waiting for the economy to improve, I wrote about my feelings, experiences and emotions of a common everyday life. It is a personalized seriocomic cathartic confession of an ordinary person (ME), who has a blind faith that I can do an extraordinary thing – write a best selling book for women based on real life reflections and experiences. It is my lofty goal to sell one million self published books, find a publisher and/ or get on the OPRAH show, so that I can share my story with other women who are suffering through the recession.
I am using my life – my sadness, my humor, my strength and my sarcasm during this Recession. Whether anything extraordinary happens remains to be seen… but I am trying my best not to abandon my hopes and dreams of discovering myself…. relying on my resilience to help me get where I need to go! I hope you decide to follow me…. on this amazing adventure….. haggling my way to the top ( literally and figuratively)
